Taking it to the Streets

There will be NO SERVICE Friday October 18th at Taking It To The Streets Ministries. We will be attending the Benefit for Paul, Alicia and Alaina Robertson ( Paul Roberttson ) with Jason Crabb.

On Saturday morning October 19th we will be having our Food / Clothing Event from 11 am until 1 pm. We will be serving Free Chili Beans, Grilled Cheese, Dessert and Drinks. Also the Clothing Bank will be open with Free Men’s, Women’s, Boys and Girls Clothing.

On Saturday evening October 19th at 7 pm Pastor Charlie Barbettini will be bringing the message “Save The Children”. Tommy Hodge ( Joyce Hodge ) and Doris Hagerman will be singing.

Everyone is welcome and invited to attend this powerful Dynamic Evangelistic Service and the Food / Clothing Event.

It was in April 2011 and we had scheduled a 24 hour telethon using WBLB Radio with speakers and singers around the clock to raise money to buy a bus for Ministry use.

The Easter Brothers were with us and during the service a devastating tornado literally ripped through Pulaski and Draper causing extensive damage.

With the telethon already scheduled we asked God how could we do a telethon to raise money for a bus with people being devastated by this tornado…”God told us to have the 24 hour telethon and give the money to the tornado victims” which is exactly what we did.

Oh but God knew all along that He planned to GIVE us not 1 but 2 buses, paint to paint the buses, decals, tires, interior and exterior upgrades and a generator for the big bus to use for Diaster Relief, Mission Outreach, Feed The Hungry, Clothe The Poor, Tent Crusades, and OutDoor Services all for His glory.

WHAT IF we had disobeyed God and kept the money from the telethon???

God said obedience is better than sacrifice and are we ever glad that we obeyed the Lord!!!
